Prehnite Rough. A Hydrothermal mineral from South Africa – light bean-green with some brown markings. The mineral content of this stone mainly consists of calcium and aluminium silicates, meaning it can be categorised into the Zeolite family. The classic colour of Prehnite is an apple green, however it can be found containing other hues such as yellow or orange. The markings suspended within the stone are formed from inclusions of dark Epidote and Iron.
