 This is a fossilised wood slice carved from ancient tree trunks found in the Mahajunga region of Madagascar and are around 220Million years old (Triassic).The wood has by this time turned to stone, remineralizing and so this is why there are so many colours in the pieces. They all have beautiful coloration  and no two slices are truly alike, even from the same trunk or branch. AA quality and superior finish to the surface. These are polished on one surface to a glass like finish
